Marketing Committee | Apparel Manager

Job Purpose:

The Apparel Manager will be responsible for conceptualizing and presenting new apparel ideas to the TRSS Branding Committee. The position will work collaboratively with internal/external committees to develop these products.

Duties:

  • Attending bi-weekly to weekly meetings
  • Setting up and selling apparel at a variety of events and initiatives
  • Assisting in development of new lines of apparel to promote TRSS
  • Managing inventory, order placement and pick up
  • Creating sketches by hand or digital for the Branding Committee
  • Working along side the Branding Committee to find quotes and set pricing

Minimum Time Commitment: 4-6 hours per week

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Creative, interested in design and fashion
  • Time management, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to work on a team as well as work independently
  • Ability to meet deadlines

* Previous experience with apparel is an asset.

There is also an additional role as an Apparel Associate available. You do not need to have apparel experience for this role, and you will mainly focus on assisting the Apparel Manager and VP Marketing in the execution, organization and planning of the apparel for the year.
