Finance Committee | Funding Services Administrator

Job Purpose:

The Finance Committee (FC) is responsible for the facilitation of the organization’s financial operations. These include the organization’s accounts payable and accounts receivable, the management of student group information in compliance with financial policies, and the communication with student groups in regards to the funding request process. The purpose of the Finance Committee is to help the VP Finance manage the organization’s finances, uphold fiscal responsibility, and provide transparent updates to the Board of Directors and General Membership.

Members of the Finance Committee will be expected to commit approximately 10 hours a week towards their duties.

Funding Services Administrator Duties:

  • Manage student group funding disbursement information through Microsoft Excel
  • Attend and organize logistics for bi-weekly student group funding committee meetings and record meeting minutes
  • Produce reports regarding funding service decisions
  • Manage the MyTRSS portal (the TRSS’ intranet) to communicate with student groups
